Sadly, the world we live in is drowning in sea of despair. The Title of this tract says it all "No God, No Hope. Know God, Know Hope." Many people struggle with depression and hopelessness. This tract gently yet straight forwardly shares the gospel to give the lost sinner hope. This trifold 3x5 tract is our most popular. Please do not let sinners live without hope and especially die without hope. Our hope is found in Jesus Christ. Here is what the entire tract says:
Hope- What does it mean? People put their hope in politicians, their loved one's or even their money hoping to make life better but people and things let us down. Most people understand hope as wishful thinking such as "I hope I win the lottery!". But hope is not wishful thinking but rather confident expectation that things will get better no matter how bad life gets. Some people hold out hope when life gets hard. Other's sadly don't. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2019 suicide was the tenth leading cause of death overall in the United States, claiming the lives of over 47,500 people. There were nearly two and a half times as many suicides (47,511) in the United States as there were homicides (19,141). Many people question the point of life. Do you struggle with having hope? The fear of death plagues many people about what happens after they die. 10 out of 10 people die and we can't escape it. And IF there is an afterlife, where are you going? However, if you know God personally you will find hope in this life and in the afterlife.
Hopeless- In order to find hope in God, you need to first realize that you are hopeless without God. You may believe in God or have a respect of God. But do you know God personally? In order to have hope in this life and knowing where you will spend eternity, you first need to know that you have sinned against God by disobeying hi moral laws (10 commandments). How many lies have you told in your entire life? Have you ever looked at someone with sexual lust? Have you ever stolen anything regardless of its value? You ever coveted or had jealously towards something someone else has? You ever used Gods name as a curse word? If you said yes to any of these then you are guilty just like the rest of us. The Bible says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" and "the wages of sin is death...". Death is wages (payment) of what we deserve for our sin. And anyone who breaks the law justly deserves punishment. We all are guilty lawbreakers by our disobedience to God's laws and therefore deserve punishment by going to hell when we die. And no good deeds can make us right with God and get us into heaven. Our sin ahs separated us from a Holy God. But there is hope for us, keep reading!
Hopeful- Though we are guilty and deserving of hell, God is love. And His love was willing to meet the demands of His justice. God gave His only son Jesus Christ to save you from your sins by taking your death penalty by dying in your place. The Bible says "For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." Jesus died on a Roman cross 2,000 years ago taking the punishment you deserve for all sins you've committed. "But God demonstrates Hi own love for us in this; while we were still sinners Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8). And three days after He died He resurrected from the dead, defeating death! Since Jesus is alive, we can now have hope. Through Christ's death and resurrection, He bought you the gift of eternal life. Eternal life is to have a you're sins forgiven, to know God personally, and to go to heaven when you die. You can only be saved by God's undeserving grace alone and you cannot save yourself through any good works.
Hope Filled- To get the free gift of eternal life you must first repent. You need to leave your sins by humbly confessing them to God as offensive, asking for His forgiveness and forsake them. Second, you need to trust (believe) in Jesus as your personal savior. "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the ONLY hope we have in this life and the next, taking away your fear of death. Repent and trust in Him today and He will give you eternal life. And then you will be filled with hope! Start reading the Bible and got to church to stay strong in your hope. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." (Romans 15:13)
