Do you know someone who is an automotive enthusiast? This fun looking tract is geared towards the people who love cars and motorcycles. As much as cars are fun and exhilarating, we cannot take them with us when we die. In the bi-fold tract it clearly spells out how the most important thing in life is to have a personal relationship with Jesus, knowing that your sins are forgiven and that you are heaven bound. Cars are cool but God is so much better! Here is the tract:

Cars and Coffee and Death…

If money wasn’t an issue, what are the top 5 dream cars you would like to own? Are you a sports car, muscle car or classic car kind of person? Maybe a Ferrari Daytona, Shelby cobra, or some unicorn car that is extremely rare? Perhaps you are more of a motorcycle individual who likes the wind blowing in your face as you cruise down the highway. Having the right vehicle on the right road with the right weather can elicit some euphoric emotions. Whether you are a cruiser or a need for speed enthusiast, driving is a joy not just a means of transportation.  But we can’t take our vehicles with us when we die. It’s been said that “You never see a U-haul hitched to a hearse”. Meaning he who dies with the most vehicles still dies. And one day death will come knocking at your door so where will you spend eternity? There is good news here, but you must read the whole message.

Generally, most people think if heaven and hell are real, they will probably go to heaven because they are a good person. Are you a good person?  Judge yourself according to God’s ten commandments His moral law. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken something that wasn’t yours regardless of value (stealing)? You ever sexually lusted with your eyes? Jesus says that’s adultery of the heart. God also judges our thought life and attitudes. So the fact of the matter is, everyone has disobeyed God’s laws being declared guilty. “For all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory”. And therefore we deserve punishment. “the wages of sin is death”. Hell is God’s prison for guilty sinners. No good deeds or giving to charities can make you right with God. We can’t save ourselves. God is love but God is also just and must punish sin, otherwise He would be corrupt. But there is good news please keep reading!

But even though we are guilty, God provided a way for us to be forgiven, go to heaven and know God personally. God is love and the Bible says “For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life”. Jesus died on a Roman cross 2000 years ago taking the punishment you deserve for all the sins you’ve committed as your substitute. He died in your place. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). And three days after He died He resurrected from the dead, defeating death!  “The free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.” God offer’s you eternal life: forgiveness of all sin, going to heaven, and a personal relationship with God through Jesus. Eternal life is a free gift of God’s grace that must be received by faith and cannot be earned through good deeds.

To get the free gift of eternal life you must:

1) Repent. You need to leave your sins by humbly confessing them to God as offensive, asking for His forgiveness and forsake them.

 2)  Trust (believe) in Jesus as your personal savior. “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9.

When you break up with your sin (repent) and trust in Christ alone (not yourself) He gives the free gift of eternal life.

Cars are cool but God is better. And He wants you to spend eternity with Him. So make sure your life is right with God. To grow in your relationship with God start reading the Bible and go to a church that teaches the Bible.
